Icelandic Fisheries Exhibition

The Icelandic Fisheries Exhibition will open on 13 September 2017.
A must for all commercial fisheries organisations and associated businesses, the three year cycle of the show is a direct response to the wishes of the exhibiting companies. This ensures that they have new products on display at each event, and as a result the exhibition has constantly grown since its inception in 1984.
Visitor attendance increased by 12% to 15,219 compared with the 2011 event, including inward missions from the Far East, Americas and Africa.
The success of the event comes as a direct result of extensive domestic and international marketing and social media campaigns spearheaded by sister brand, World Fishing & Aquaculture Magazine.
Following feedback from the 2014 survey of exhibitors, and meetings with the exhibition’s advisory board, the exhibition will take place from Wednesday to Friday in 2017.
In addition to the exhibition is the 7th Icelandic Fisheries Awards, as well as the 2nd IceFish Conference, which will focus on ‘Fish Waste for Profit’, an aspect the Icelanders are in the forefront of mastering.
