Hornsea 3 1 and Hornsea 3 2 are two offshore platforms forming part of the Hornsea 3 development in the UK sector of the North Sea. Together, the platforms will provide a combined capacity of up to 2.85 GW, supporting one of the world’s largest offshore wind projects and delivering significant renewable energy to the UK grid.
Teknotherm delivered the full HVAC equipment package for both platforms, ensuring safe, reliable, and energy efficient climate control for critical electrical systems and operational areas. Our contribution supports stable platform performance in demanding offshore conditions and forms a key part of the overall infrastructure enabling large scale renewable power transmission.
