Christmas Greeting 2023

Dear valued customers, partners & colleagues.

Another year has passed, and we are soon entering the holiday season.

Talking about the “new normal” might sound like a cliche, but it’s true….navigating these troubled waters, taking difficult but necessary business decisions in very a challenging business environment have become “the new normal”!

The challenges that were described a year ago has unfortunately not disappeared, and we have to continue to manage our business in an even more unstable geopolitical situation globally. The inflation remains high and energy prices are still unpredictable. Our Norwegian government are continuing to create uncertainty amongst many stakeholders in the fishery & fish farming industry with their “salmon tax” regime.

However, the unstable geopolitical situation and the need for stable energy supply, ironically has a potential positive effect on our business as we are well positioned to handle new exiting opportunities when nations are scaling up their navy’s investments and the demand for renewable energy and offshore wind farms are increasing.

In times like this, it is great to see that you as clients and our great colleagues are rising to the occasion, collaborate and seek solutions to push through yet a new set of challenges.

I have said it before, and I will say it again! A BIG thank you to you all, our valued clients, and to our dedicated staff who selflessly continue to put your schedules and individual priorities aside over and over again to ensure that the job gets done!

It is highly appreciated, and your work continues to make real differences!

We need to remain a strong focus on our team’s adaptability & willingness to co-operate, willingness to adapt and to seek continuous improvement both internally as well together with our clients, as their requirement are continuously evolving, and Regulatory Compliance is increase in all aspects of our business.

Looking back at 2023, give yourself a pat on the back and say well done as you have all deserved it!

Moving into 2024, I am sure we yet again will encounter new challenges and frustrations, but I’m confident that we will find a way to overcome them like we have managed to do in previous years.
