CO2 Indoor DX Cooling unit

Packaged indoor air-condition units, specifically developed for cooling of data rooms or switch board rooms with a raised floor. However, the units can also be delivered with plenum for air grille supply or support duct connections. The refrigerant used is CO2, Carbon Dioxide, a refrigerant with no ODP or GWP impact. The CO2 refrigerant is neither flammable or toxic and not subject to the F-Gas regulation.

Design

Units are connected to an external air cooled or water-cooled CO2 gas cooler (see separate information leaflets).
The gas coolers normally have an inlet temperature limitation of +20°C for water and +25oC for ambient air.
Due to these cooling temperature limitations the CO2 compressors can operate in either subcritical or transcritical condition.

• The units are equipped with G4 air filters, semi hermetic variable speed driven compressors and EC fans
• Casing can be made from painted Zink plated steel or stainless steel AISI 316L material
• Cooling coils are made from K65 Copper tubes with fins made from Copper or Aluminum
• The coils can also be provided with various protective coatings on request
• Three cabinet sizes S/M/L are available. See next page for more information
• The outlet air side can be executed in various alternatives (Down flow, Grill or Duct Connection)

Maintenance

• Maintenance is easily done through a 700 mm wide door that allows access to all internal components
• Air filters are changed from the top of the units
