We are very excited and proud to announce that we have agreed on a contract with Cemre Shipyard in Turkey, for the delivery of a complete HVAC system for NB1094- a windfarm support vessel for Esvagt.
This is one of the most advanced SOV that we have contracted for so far, with high focus on low energy consumption. During the pre-contract phase, there was a close cooperation between Teknotherm, Cemre Shipyard, HAV Design and also the owner, Esvagt, to best design the most complex HVAC system delivered for a SOV.
Some “nerdy” facts; In addition to the traditional HVAC scope, we will deliver a combined chilled and hot water system, fully integrated towards the waste heat recovery system from Ulmatec Thermal Solutions. The hot water received from Ulmatec Thermal Solutions is used for the heating system in the accommodation, but also for an absorption chiller that produces chilled water from hot water.
For the absorption chiller we are also excited to work with COOL4SEA, and for all the help and flexibility they have showed in the sales process.
Teknotherm will deliver the main equipment in June 2023, and planned delivery to the owner is October 2024.
